The top track and guide rail can be concealed within the ceiling, without the need for a bottom track allowing an uninterrupted floor surface. Single access doors can be incorporated into any position creating the entrance and exit points, enabling complete flexibility of design.

SF40 HSW

Frameless, single glazed moveable wall system

The SF40 HSW (horizontal moveable wall), frameless all-glass solution is without vertical framework offering clear uninterrupted panoramic views. The SF40 HSW provides a creative answer for facilities requiring a physical, but not a visual barrier.

The SF40 HSW system will enhance any project and can be integrated easily into any building design, presenting unlimited possibilities of organising space, especially in commercial environments. Glazed partitions suitable for any room divider office, hotel, bank, school, church, restaurant, bar, café, shopfronts, car showroom, swimming pool or shopping mall.

Profile

Glass panels which have been drilled and mechanically clamped and bonded top and bottom with a slender aluminium rail. The SF40 HSW can be used in conjunction with SF50 HSW, enabling single doors to be incorporated within a panel.

Track options

The top suspended track and rail can be concealed within the ceiling and is therefore entirely without the need of a bottom track, with only floor press stud sockets to accommodate the shootbolt locking rods, leaving an uninterrupted floor surface, bottom track option is available if required.

Security

When closed, individual panels interlock together and are locked into position by drop shootbolts rods into the floor. The first opening panel may incorporate a locking block plate, if required.

Weather stripping

With minimum distance between glass panels, top and bottom twin PVC brush piles, effective draught proofing is achieved.

Operating System

A top running system with an operating mechanism that consists of horizontal polyamide wheels with double-sealed ball bearings. Provide continued quiet, quick and easy, smooth operation and long life.

Appearance

The supporting rails and head track as standard can be finished to a silver anodised EV1 or polyester powder coated to a semi-gloss finish white RAL 9016, aluminium RAL 9006, grey aluminium RAL 9007 or anthracite grey RAL 7016. Other RAL colours (over 200 RAL colours) are available for a nominal charge. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi-gloss or full-gloss level paint finish is required.

Glazing

Depending on specification 6mm, 8mm or 10mm toughened safety glass, manufactured to BS EN 12600 standard can be used, this can be tinted or obscured if required.

Complete system

The SF40 HSW system can be complemented by the SF50 system enabling a complete solution to any room, from tilt and turn windows, fixed glazing to folding sliding doors.

SF50 HSW/SF50c HSW

Non-insulated aluminium moveable wall system

The SF50 HSW (horizontal moveable wall) is a non-insulated aluminium framed panel. The system can also be offered as the SF50c HSW benefiting from the natural beauty and warmth of real timber clad to the inside. Each panel, when closed, provides a continuous seal with its neighbouring panel ensuring greater structural stability and security, in addition to improved noise reduction and energy saving.

The SF50 HSW and SF50c HSW systems will enhance any project and can be applied easily into any building design, presenting many possibilities of organising space. Suitable for use as partition walls and for commercial applications, including pool enclosures, restaurants, churches, and shop fronts.

The SF50c HSW benefits from the strength and stability provided by aluminium. And combines it with the natural charm and beauty of timber to the inside, providing the very best of both worlds with a choice of timber profile shape to suit. All timber is sourced from sustainable forests. The standard timbers are Meranti (hardwood) and Nordic pine (knot-free softwood), while other timbers such as American white oak are available by special order.

The top suspended track and rail can be concealed within the ceiling and is therefore entirely without the need of a bottom track, with only floor press stud sockets to accommodate the shootbolt locking rods, leaving an uninterrupted floor surface, bottom track option is available if required.

Each panel incorporates a bottom shootbolt mechanism which is concealed within the framework and operated by an internal flush handle. The shootbolt rods are manufactured in aluminium and linked by a corrosion resistant cam. They are capped with glass fibre reinforced polyamide cones to prevent any damage. When closed each panel interlocks with its neighbouring panels by continuous gasket seals. All systems are internally glazed as standard for improved security. Key locking can be integrated in the first opening panel or lead door with a five-lever profile cylinder. This can be fitted to either the inside only or both internally and externally as required, additional locks can be added at every handle point for higher security.

Weather stripping

The top and bottom seals consist of twin nylon brush piles giving an effective seal. The double gasket seals between the door panels are continuous and of superior quality (consisting of long-lasting EPDM).

Even different colours to the inside and outside (dual colour) or different wood grain effects are available for a nominal charge. The RAL colours can be applied to the handles and hinges if required or alternatively there is a stainless steel handle option. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi-gloss or full-gloss level of paint finish is required. A marine environment finish that is required to all systems within 5,000m of a shoreline or chemical swimming pool environment is also available. The SF50c HSW in addition to the external aluminium finishes listed above, the natural character of wood to the inside is perfectly preserved by using Sikkens micro-porous water based wood stains (ie they contain no harmful solvents) in a variety of stain colours. As standard Sunflex timber door systems are fully finished which consists of one basecoat and two topcoats. Clear or oil finishes are available upon request.

Glazing

The system can accommodate triple glazing. Our standard 28mm unit comprises of 4mm clear toughened glass to the inner pane x 16mm argon gas cavity x 4mm neutral antisun toughened glass, providing an enhanced thermal efficiency, with a centre pane U-Value of 1.0W/m2K to comply with Building Regulations for safety and thermal efficiency. All sealed units are BS kite marked, manufactured to BS EN 12600 and BS 5713:1979 standards. IDSystems offer a wide choice of glazing options, including internal venetian or pleated blinds which can be incorporated inside the glazed unit. These are very popular, especially on internally opening systems where curtains are not practical.

SF55 HSW/SF55c HSW

Thermally broken aluminium moveable wall system

The SF55 HSW (horizontal moveable wall) combines light-weight aluminium with an unrivalled 24mm patented shaped polyamide thermal break. This provides a compact profile width of only 55mm, in addition to narrower sightlines maximising glass area, while ensuring optimum heat insulation and effective weather performance that is able to endure most situations.

The SF55c HSW represents the very best of both worlds without compromise. Enjoy the benefits of the low-maintenance and thermal efficiency of aluminium and the natural beauty and warmth of wood.

The SF55c HSW benefits from the strength and stability provided by the aluminium. combining the natural charm and beauty of timber to the inside, providing the very best of both worlds with a choice of timber profile shape to suit. All timber is sourced from sustainable forests. The standard timbers are Meranti (hardwood) and Nordic pine (knot-free softwood), while other timbers such as American white oak are available by special order. As an additional feature should in the future you wish to change the timber type or finish to the inside, you can simply order a replacement set of timber frames which can be easily interchanged.

SF75h HSW

Slim profile timber moveable wall system

The SF75h Timber horizontal moveable wall system is manufactured using laminated engineered timber sections which increase strength and reduces the risk of twisting or warping, it also enables the minimal sightlines. Panels when closed form a solid union ensuring the very best in security, reliability, thermal efficiency.

All timber is sourced from sustainable forests: the standard timbers are Meranti (hardwood) and Nordic pine (knot free-softwood), while other timbers such as American White Oak are available by special order. The natural beauty of the wood is enhanced by Sunflex’s finishing techniques, resulting in the finished product being comparable to that of high-quality furniture.

The SF75h HSW Timber can easily be integrated and will enhance any project, presenting unlimited space organising opportunities. The system is very suitable for commercial applications; from an office or a bank to a school, car showroom or a shopping mall.

The Sunflex SF75h is manufactured from triple-laminated solid timber sections. These sections have been stabilised at stress points and bonded back together with opposing grains, which creates added strength whilst preventing warping and twisting.
