Why choose aluminium doors?

Aluminium offers considerable advantages over timber or uPVC in the manufacture of doors. With significantly greater rigidity and strength the frames of aluminium doors can be manufactured to be narrower, thus allowing for larger panes of glass compared to plastic or wooden doors.

Modern aluminium doors, made using advanced thermal break technology protects against cold transfer and enables aluminium door systems to be just as, if not more, thermally efficient than uPVC or timber.

The rigidity and strength or aluminium means that it is not prone to warping or twisting like wood, or swelling or contracting as the temperature changes like plastic, ensuring aluminium door systems are maintenance free and easy to use all year around.
