Founded in 2005 and based in Central London and Tunbridge Wells, Simon Whitehead Architects is a young and dynamic RIBA practice with a proud reputation for quality design and an ethos of ‘Perfection with a Personal Touch’ that is at the heart of everything they do.

This personal approach combined with a comprehensive design process has seen the studio selected for a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from renovations and extensions through to new-build homes and mixed-use commercial properties.

We have worked with Simon Whitehead Architects to create innovative glazing solutions for nearly ten years. These projects have included extensions, renovations and new-builds, with each one sharing the attention to detail and quality that the practice is renowned for.

Extension of large South London home

This detached home in Dulwich has been completely transformed by addition of a large ground floor extension and renovation to the upper floors of the house. The finished design is full of natural light thanks to an innovative use of Grand Slider II sliding doors and fixed frame windows and has significantly increased the usable living space, as well as broken down the divide between house and garden.
